Executed two people in Shkodra/ Gila, previously arrested, was helping criminal

The perpetrator of today's attack, Ragip Gila, is a person known to the police. In December 2023, Gila was arrested as a suspect in supplying criminal groups with weapons and various materials.

During his arrest in 2023, Gila was found with 2 masks, 3 wigs, 7 bulletproof vests and metal police helmets, shotguns, combat ammunition and other items suspected of being used by criminal groups to commit crimes against persons and property.

Also, 1 jar and 13 packages filled with suspected cannabis were found on the young man, as well as another quantity of this substance, divided into doses.

Masks, wigs, bulletproof vests and metal police helmets, shotguns, combat ammunition and other items suspected of being used by criminal groups to commit crimes against persons and property are discovered and seized.

A 26-year-old man was arrested in flagrante delicto for possessing illegal items and narcotics in his apartment.

Following successive strikes within the framework of the police mega-operations "Temple" and "Rule of Law", based on police intelligence, specialists from the Narcotics Investigation Section of the Shkodra Local Police Directorate, in cooperation with specialists from the Crime Investigation Section of the Shkodra Police Commissariat, have struck another case of supplying criminal individuals or groups with means to commit crimes against persons and property, as well as a case of distributing narcotics near schools.

In the "Partizani" neighborhood, the Police services, as part of the police operation codenamed "False Image", have intervened in the apartment of 26-year-old RG, where they found and seized 7 bulletproof vests, 2 pairs of gloves, 3 masks, 2 wigs, combat ammunition, 1 metal skull, 1 shotgun and other illegal items, as well as a quantity of suspected cannabis narcotics.

At the conclusion of the first investigative and procedural actions, citizen RG, 26 years old, resident of Shkodra, was arrested in flagrante delicto.

The investigative structures of the Shkodra Police Department, in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office, continue in-depth investigations to fully clarify this case, and to capture and arrest other citizens involved.

The procedural materials were transferred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Shkodra, for further action, for the criminal offenses "Production and sale of narcotics", "Production and unauthorized possession of combat weapons and ammunition" and "Production and unauthorized possession of hunting and sporting weapons".
