Around 13 thousand narcotic plants were cultivated/ 14 people in custody, 10

Following the "Coordinates" operation, the police found 12,957 narcotic plants, 1,000 cannabis seeds, 709 kg of narcotics in bottle form and 3,939 kg of plants in the drying process in Malësia e Madhe.

As a result, 14 people were arrested and 10 others were declared wanted. Two citizens were also prosecuted.

All of these people are suspected of cultivating narcotic plants near their homes in the villages of Alijaj and Jeran.

The narcotic plants found were destroyed by burning.

 

Police notification

Malësi e Madhe / Intensive controls and investigative and operational actions continue within the framework of the anti-cannabis police operation, codenamed "Coordinates".

As a result of intensive controls, 12,957 narcotic plants were found cultivated in the administrative unit of Kastrat, in the villages of Alijaj and Jeran.

1000 cannabis seeds and 709 kilograms of narcotics in bottle form and 3934 kg of plants in the process of drying were seized.

14 citizens are arrested, 10 others are wanted, and two are criminally prosecuted.

Following intensive checks and investigative and operational actions, the services of the Shkodra Local Police Directorate, in cooperation with the services of the Malësi e Madhe Police Commissariat, arrested in flagrante delicto citizens E. Ç., 77 years old; M. Ç., 72 years old; FS, 57 years old; DS, 53 years old; RJ, 36 years old; KL, 60 years old; EH, 26 years old; AL, 50 years old ., A.Ç., 22 years old; Gj. Ç., 48 years old; M. Ç., 25 years old, P. Ç., 66 years old; Ç. H., 70 years old and a 17-year-old.

Citizens A. Ç., 54 years old; G. U(C)., 38 years old; D. Ç., 33 years old; Sh. Ç., 49 years old; Gj. Ç., 50 years old; EH, 33 years old; MH, 37 years old; EH, 40 years old; MH, 46 years old; AH, 35 years old were declared wanted.

Citizens LN, 53 years old, and NN, 25 years old, were also prosecuted at large.

Investigations suspect that these citizens cultivated 12,597 suspected narcotic plants, of the Cannabis Sativa variety, in the villages of Alijaj and Jeran, near their homes. The narcotic plants were destroyed by burning, while during searches in the homes, significant quantities of narcotics in various stages of processing were also found.

During the searches of their homes, 1,000 cannabis seeds and 4,685 kilograms of narcotics, in bottle form and a quantity in the process of drying, were found and seized as material evidence.

Intensive work continues to capture the citizens on the wanted list.
