Prostitution in rented apartment/ Three people arrested in Shkodra

Police have cracked down on another prostitution case in the country. Two Chinese nationals have been arrested for practicing prostitution in an apartment they had rented. A 37-year-old man, a resident of Shkodra, has also been arrested.

As part of the "Rent House 2" operation, a sum of money, suspected to have been obtained from prostitution, and 5 cell phones were seized.

Police announcement: 

Shkodër/The police operation codenamed "Rent House 2" is finalized, another prostitution case is cracked down on.

Two Chinese nationals who were practicing prostitution in an apartment they had rented were arrested.

Another citizen is arrested for prostitution.

A sum of money, suspected to have been obtained from prostitution, and 5 cell phones were seized.

The Narcotics Investigation Sector, in cooperation with the Shkodra Police Commissariat and the Operational Support Section, in continuation of the work to crack down on illegalities, based on information obtained through operational channels, organized and finalized the police operation codenamed "Rent house 2".

As a result of this operation, an apartment was discovered in the "Parrucë" neighborhood, where prostitution was practiced.

As part of the operation, 3 citizens were arrested in the apartment premises, specifically:

Chinese nationals Sh. J., 34 years old, and YP, 46 years old, who had rented the apartment and adapted it for the practice of prostitution;

EK, 37 years old, resident of Shkodra.

Under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, work continues to document the case and identify other citizens who may be involved.

The procedural materials were passed to the Shkodra Prosecutor's Office for further action. / CNA
