Massive fire in Indonesia / Plastic factory engulfed in flames

A massive fire has broken out at a plastics factory in the Gunung Putri region, Bogor Regency, in West Java, Indonesia, causing thick clouds of smoke and panic in the area.

According to local authorities and international media reports, the flames spread rapidly within the industrial complex, encompassing a large part of the plastics manufacturing factory.

Firefighters were immediately deployed to the scene with several teams and special equipment to bring the flames under control. So far, no casualties have been reported, while investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the fire.

Footage from the area showed a large column of black smoke rising from the burning building, while residents were advised to remain vigilant due to air pollution. /CNA
