Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky says the military has requested that 450-500,000 additional people be mobilized into the army, but that a final decision had not been made.

The Ukrainian leader said at the press conference in Kiev that senior military and government officials would discuss "this very sensitive issue of mobilization" and that the parliament would then consider it.

Zelensky said that carrying out a mobilization on such a scale would require additional funding.

He added that he is "convinced" that the US will not let Ukraine sit down in terms of support./ CNA
