Trump: I will not allow Iran to blackmail the US

US President Donald Trump told the media today from the Oval Office at the White House that very good talks are taking place with Iran.

Trump also said that Iranian leaders want to close the Strait of Hormuz again, but stressed "the United States will not allow them to blackmail us."

The President further added that there will be some more information by the end of the day regarding Iran.

"We'll have some information by the end of the day. We're talking to them, we're taking a strong stance," Trump said.

The US president made these statements after signing an executive order easing restrictions on psychedelic drug treatments, alongside well-known broadcaster Joe Rogan, a supporter of this measure. /CNA
