Today at 4:00 p.m., the funeral ceremony will be held for Kosovo Police officer Afrim Bonjakun, who was killed yesterday in the municipality of Lepasovici by an armed group. 

It is known that the officer will be buried in the Samadrexhe village cemetery, local media reports. 

"Today from 4:00 p.m., the funeral of the policeman who fell in the line of duty, Hero, Afrim Bunjaku, will take place. We inform all our compatriots and all the people of Kosovo that tomorrow, Monday, from 16:00, in the cemetery of the village of Samadrexhe, with state honors, the burial of the fallen policeman, our compatriot, Heroi, will take place , Afrim Bunjaku", the announcement states. 

The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, in support of the Constitution of Kosovo, has decided that Monday, September 25, will be declared a state day of mourning in his honor.

"The national mourning will be on Monday, while the State Protocol is tasked with taking all the necessary actions to implement this decision", the announcement of the presidency states.
