This Monday started the week of German farmers' protests, causing serious consequences for road traffic throughout the territory of the federation.

Yesterday, but also during the following days, the farmers will keep the entrances to the highways blocked, opposing the planned cuts in subsidies from the government.

INSA and BILD have opened a poll about these protests and it turned out that the majority of Germans see the farmers' action as a good thing.

69% of respondents support farmers' protests. According to the results, the greatest support comes from AFD voters, where 88% have expressed their support.

However, most other groups also supported the protests.

Another finding of the poll is that farmers have more support than climate protesters.

INSA and BILD asked the question: Which protest do you understand more - that of climate activists or farmers?

64% of respondents said farmers, 11% said climate activists and 20% supported both protests./ CNA
