Russia today announced sanctions against 39 British politicians, officials, business people and journalists, banning them from entering Russia because of what Moscow says they have given to the "demonization" of the country.

It includes opposition Labor Party leader Keir Starmer, former prime minister David Cameron and well-known TV journalists Piers Morgan, Robert Peston and Huw Edwards.
