Iran's use of drones "reveals Russia's military bankruptcy"

The use of Iranian drones by Russian military forces to attack Ukraine shows that Russia has gone bankrupt, both politically and militarily, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said in an address to the nation.

According to him, the airstrikes of the last two weeks have destroyed almost a third of the power stations in Ukraine.

Zelensky said that for decades Russia has spent billions of dollars on its military industrial complexes and "in the end they have bowed to Tehran to provide simple drones and missiles".

“Kjo gjë vetëm ia dëshmon botës se Rusia është në rrugë drejt humbjes dhe po tenton të tëheqë edhe dikë tjetër në mesin e bashkëpunëtorëve. Ne natyrisht që do të sigurohemi për një reagim të duhur ndërkombëtar”.

Irani e mohon se furnizon Rusinë me dronë, dhe Kremlini ka thënë se nuk ka informacione nëse janë përdorur dronët kamikazë iranianë.

Mirëpo inteligjenca britanike ka thënë të ketë identifikuar dronët e përdorur nga Rusia si pajisje iraniane.

Departament amerikan i Shtetit është pajtuar po ashtu me këtë vlerësim.

Zëdhënësja e Shtëpisë së Bardhë, Karine Jean-Pierre, e ka akuzuar Teheranin për gënjeshtra kur ka thënë se dronët iranianë nuk janë përdorur nga Rusia në Ukrainë.

Zelensky has said that the attacks have caused major power outages across Ukraine and "there is no room for negotiations" with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The war in Ukraine started on February 24.

The West has responded to Russia, hitting the economy of this country with harsh sanctions.
