Before the session in Kosovo/ Kurti summons Memli Krasniqi and Lumir Abdixhiku

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has invited the leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Memli Krasniqi, and the leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Lumir Abdixhiku, to a meeting, following the failure for the umpteenth time of the constitutive sessions in the Kosovo Assembly.

In the letter, Kurti emphasizes the need to elect the presidency of the Assembly, including its speaker, based on the Constitution of Kosovo and the relevant regulation.

He invites Abdixhiku to attend a meeting with representatives of the three main parties, which will also be attended by Memli Krasniqi, chairman of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK).

The meeting is scheduled to be held on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at 08:30, in room N-204 of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo.

"Based on the Constitution, three vice-presidents will be from the three parties that won the most seats, therefore I invite you to a joint meeting with Mr. Lumir Abdixhiku, the President of the LDK, in room N-204 of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, tomorrow (Thursday), May 1, 2025, at 8:30 am," Kurt wrote./CNA
