Pope Francis announces visit to Pristina

Pope Francis has announced that he may pay a visit to Kosovo. The important news was given by the French Pope during an interview for the Spanish magazine Vida Nueva.

"We are working on a visit to Kosovo, but nothing has been decided", said Pope Francis.

He also announced visits to Argentina and Uruguay.

In this interview, Pope Francis revealed that he is considering appointing a "permanent representative" to "serve as a bridge" between Russia and Ukraine, at the same time he announced that his special envoy to mediate the war will to travel to Beijing, considering that he has already visited Kiev, Moscow and Washington.

The Pope is currently on a visit to Lisbon, as part of World Youth Day, and will then travel to Mongolia between August 31 and September 4.

The Pope will continue his tour, as he will participate in the Mediterranean meetings in Marseille, France, on September 22 and 23.
