Germany a haven for money laundering

Albin Kurti says that unemployment, corruption and Serbia are the three biggest challenges for Kosovo.
Creating new jobs, especially for young people, is for Kurti the first challenge for Kosovo. He says that in order to create new jobs, Kosovo needs foreign direct investments and new jobs related to them.
"I encourage all European companies to invest in Kosovo. We have technology parks like Prizren, high export growth and a young and well-trained workforce." - said Albin Kurti in an interview for the German newspaper "Die Welt".
Tax policy
Kurti says that tax revenues in Kosovo have recently increased by 34 percent and this without making changes in the fiscal policy. According to him, this means that people are again willing to pay more taxes, because they know that his government is not corrupt.
Fighting corruption
Kurti sees the fight against corruption as a second challenge. According to him, the criminal prosecution and justice bodies should be even more efficient and take even stricter measures.
Serbian illegal structures
According to Prime Minister Kurti, the third challenge is Serbia, which he considers a threat to Kosovo. He told the newspaper "Die Welt" that Serbia is building illegal structures, especially in the north of Kosovo, and continues to maintain very close ties with Russia./ Dw
