Jared Kushner on Peace Board: Potential to change the future of the world

Jared Kushner, son-in-law of US President Donald Trump, who is expected to be appointed as a special envoy for peace, spoke today about the plan conceived by the US during the inaugural meeting of the Peace Board in Washington.

In his speech, Kushner emphasized the role of such an initiative, which, as he pointed out, was thought of as radical until a few years ago.

According to Kushner, a plan for peace through this board is now entirely possible, through cooperation between countries and new ideas.

"We can't change the past, but I believe what we're seeing today is that we have the potential to change the future. Only if we focus on doing it the right way. We tried to structure this meeting as a formal meeting. What we're seeing today is just a part of what we're seeing. Most of them are not doing it for any personal gain, but just for their children and grandchildren, because they want to see peace. If people from all over the world come together, there will be peace. Before, these ideas seemed radical, but in recent years that has changed.
