Croatian media have revealed the identity of the 29-year-old Albanian woman, who hid the road accident where the brother and sister from Gradac lost their lives last week.

After the accident on April 9, she was admitted to the Dubrovnik General Hospital, where she was under observation after suffering minor injuries, and after leaving the hospital she was arrested and questioned.

The road accident occurred when the 29-year-old woman, who was driving a BMË SUV with Slovak license plates, overtook the vehicle in front of her illegally, which caused a head-on collision with a car with Makarska license plates.

As a result of the collision, a 21-year-old man and his 19-year-old sister died at the scene.

The Albanian woman was sent to the State Municipal Prosecutor's Office in Dubrovnik on April 12, for criminal charges, due to the well-founded suspicion that she committed the criminal offense of causing the fatal road accident.

Accordingly, the State Municipal Prosecutor's Office in Dubrovnik proposed to the investigating judge of the District Court in Dubrovnik that the suspect be remanded in custody, while the investigating judge accepted the proposal.
