Secretary of State Anthony Blinken called on Tuesday to all parties in Kosovo to work to reduce tensions in the north of the country. The United States condemns Monday's violence against KFOR troops, law enforcement and journalists, which it calls "unacceptable."

This is the second statement, since Friday, that the American secretary of state blames the government of Kosovo for exacerbating the situation. "The decision of the government of Kosovo to forcefully enter the buildings of the municipalities, deeply and unnecessarily aggravated the tensions", says Mr. Blinken.
