The US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, will attend an informal dinner at the Ministerial Council of the member states of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), held in Skopje on November 30 and December 1.

The news was announced this Saturday by the Foreign Minister of North Macedonia, Bujar Osmani.

"Of course we shouldn't expect everyone to stay for three days. These are important people who will come to part of the event and leave. Whether the dates of their stay will coincide, I cannot say, because we are still defining them. The decision on European Union sanctions does not apply to events of a multilateral nature such as the OSCE, therefore it is a decision of the governments that must bring it, but it has a legal basis in the EU. Now, we and at least one of our neighboring countries must make such a decision. Bulgaria or Greece to enable such a flight", said the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bujar Osmani.

The OSCE Ministerial Council, to be held in Skopje, is seen as a key event in which it will be decided how the organization will operate in the future, given the ongoing obstacles and blockades imposed by Russia since its inception. of the invasion of Ukraine last February./ CNA
