In an effort to address growing concerns about national public order and security, the Finnish government has decided to close three more border crossings with Russia, Schengenviza.info reports.
Starting Friday, November 24, the Kuusamo, Salla and Vartius border crossings will be closed to everyone, including Finns, and the measure will remain in force until December 23, 2023.
According to the Finnish Ministry of the Interior, all traffic will now be redirected and centralized at the Raja-Jooseppi border crossing.
