Vacations are getting more expensive, daily expenses for food and transportation

When booking a vacation outside of a package that guarantees transportation or meals, daily expenses can vary from person to person. This is primarily related to the possibilities that a person or a family has in the estimated budget.

If it is an economical budget, the preferred alternative is cooking in an apartment that offers these conditions, frequenting public beaches or those with cheaper prices, avoiding other activities that increase costs such as visits to museums or archaeological parks, and boat tours.

If the budget is higher, then choosing a hotel is the alternative this group goes for, as well as eating out or engaging in other social and cultural activities during the holidays.

Monitor" conducted a survey this summer through the ECR (Engaged Citizens Reporting) application, where 266 people responded, thus providing a general overview of Albanians' vacations, the costs and the problems they encounter this season.

"Monitor" survey figures show that 52% anticipate that these daily expenses for activities other than accommodation will range between 50-100 euros.

Less than 50 euros per day corresponds to the responses of 28% of respondents, while 15% predict between 100-200 euros, while 200-300 euros corresponds to at least 2% of responses, and over 300 euros corresponds to at least 3% of respondents.

A year ago, only 42% expected to have expenses between 50-100 euros, while those with less than 50 euros per day were 43%.

Regarding the total vacation budget, the majority or 37% of respondents anticipate a budget between 500-1000 euros, while 23% anticipate a budget between 1000 and 2000 euros. Only 22% responded with less than 500 euros, while 8% anticipate a budget between 2000 - 2500 euros.

Summer vacation, most are satisfied with their recent experience

Summer vacations are often considered the main relaxation period that individuals or families plan to gain new energy for the upcoming period, so the "satisfaction" they get from the last experience becomes important.

From the "Monitor" survey, it appears that the last vacation experience has been positive for the majority of responses, with 35% of respondents being satisfied with their last summer vacation, while 28.7% responded that they were very satisfied with their last vacation.

At least 18.5% were neutral while 11.1% were somewhat satisfied. A minority of 6% of respondents rated their recent summer vacation experience as not positive, answering “very dissatisfied.”

Por duket se këto janë sfida reale edhe për vendasit të cilët gjatë sondazhit mund të komentonin mbi sfida apo pakënaqësi të tjera të hasura gjatë pushimeve dhe përgjigjet që dominojnë janë: mbipopullimi në plazhe, muzika e lartë apo ndotja akustike, mungesa e pastërtisë në plazhe, si dhe abuzimet që bëhen nga subjekte të ndryshme që kanë në përdorim bregun në lidhje me çmimet.

Një tjetër sfidë është cilësuar edhe trafiku, edhe pse këtë vit më pak në disa akse, por gjatë fundjave nuk mungon në zonat bregdetare në pika të segment të ndryshme.

Zgjedhja e një destinacioni për pushime kalon në filtra të ndryshëm të një individi apo të një familjeje dhe rëndësinë e marrin një seri faktorësh, por më dominuese kryesisht është ajo e kostos.

Edhe në sondazh, 104 të anketuar thanë se kostoja ishte faktori më i rëndësishëm i përzgjedhjes së një destinacioni.

Faktor i dytë më i rëndësishëm ishte afërsia me atraksionet kulturore apo natyrore që ka ky destinacion. Deti dhe plazhi duket se nuk janë më të mjaftueshëm dhe shkëputja për aktivitete të tjera është një pjesë e rëndësishme që plotëson pushimet.

Në vendin e tretë është siguria dhe më pas vijnë afërsia dhe klima.

Në një pyetje mbi faktorë të tjerë të anketuarit kanë renditur se pastërtia në plazhe, qetësia, aksesi për fëmijë të vegjël janë gjithashtu faktorë të rëndësishëm që merren parasysh gjatë përzgjedhjes së destinacionit për pushimet e verës.

Nga përgjigjet të paktën 78% e të anketuarve thanë se do t’ua rekomandonin destinacionin e tyre të fundit të udhëtimit të tjerëve.

35% e shqiptarëve udhëtojnë 3-5 herë gjatë vitit, 8% asnjë udhëtim në 12 muaj

Linjat low cost kanë rritur mundësinë e eksplorimit nga shqiptarët të destinacioneve të ndryshme kudo në Europë. Por një pjesë e mirë parapëlqejnë që në fundjava, në periudha të ndryshme të vitit, të udhëtojnë edhe brenda vendit, por kjo gjithmonë sipas mundësisë, sepse çdo udhëtim ka koston e tij.

Sondazhi tregon se të paktën 35% e atyre që u përgjigjën bëjnë mes 3-5 udhëtime në vit, ndërkohë që 40% e tyre 1-2 udhëtime si brenda ashtu dhe jashtë vendit.

When asked what measures could be taken to improve the tourism sector in the country, respondents' responses were varied.

One of them recommends that the state be cautious with its approach to tourism, where locals should be protected from the negative effects that mass tourism brings, meaning increased costs.

"Attention should be paid to the protection of Albanian citizens."

"Look at the protests against tourism in Spain, Italy and many other countries. Tourists have not increased consumption and the benefit we receive as a country in relation to the price increases they have brought is very small," one of them comments.

Another says that abusive practices such as parking in front of bars or hotels that block traffic for everyone should not be allowed, taking measures against operators who have beaches in use and who do not allow the consumption of products taken with you, forcing you to consume from their restaurants and bars.
