Problems with balance sheets/ NCC: There is no postponement, but technically

According to a research by "Monitor", of the 200 largest companies in the country, only 35% of them had submitted their balance sheets by Sunday.

With two days left until the deadline for submitting balance sheets, entities report that on Wednesday morning, the E-Albania system, through which statements are submitted to the National Business Center, had completely crashed, while after 10:00 it resumed functioning.

Starting on July 24, a week before the July 31 deadline, economists reported that they were unable to submit their balance sheets. Since then, the system has been working intermittently, and even when it did work, there have been problems, as businesses were unable to complete the procedure because the signed form was not recognized.

The Alliance of Freelance Professionals (APL) has requested that an extension of the submission deadline be considered until the platform is operating stably and at full capacity.

Asked by "Monitor", sources from the National Business Center said that "We really don't have any problems with the service. We are processing many applications per day. There are no delays because there are legal restrictions, but the situation will be evaluated until the end and the maximum number of technically identified cases can be processed. However, this remains to be seen".

Even sources from E-Albania said that the system is fine and the problem is not with them.

As the responsible institutions play ping-pong with each other, accountants and financiers risk being fined 60 thousand lek for each late submission of a balance sheet.
