The opposition has put forward around 11 names as candidates for the Municipality of Tirana. Beyond the antics of Adriatik Lapaj or the political impudence of Endri Shabani, the approach of Agron Shehaj, the opposition has come up with a bunch of names.
Names with civic weight, with value that goes beyond attacks on whether or not they are Soros supporters and whether or not they have opposed the government with howitzers, have their own values ??and show us that the opposition has hope, has names and can be even bigger and stronger.
First, Ermal Hasimja, one of the people who joined Berisha's KOP, was the director of Public Relations in 2005.

Of course, the doctor was different in the first steps, but then Berisha returned to the real him. As happened in the story with the racial politician's podium.
Hasimja is not a man without public weight anymore, he continues his private activity in an educational institution, has a strong political articulation and approach, and is known more than a stoic right-winger as a man closer to the liberals, but with a contribution to the DP many years ago.
The second is Edlira Çepani, the wife of the late Gert Bogdani, who was actually the founder of the Albania Becomes Adriatic Party along with Florian Binaj.

From the first steps of this movement, they probably moved away from the selfishness, individualism, and duplicity of Adriatik Lapaj, whom we saw after winning a mandate in the capital when he mocked Albanians for weeks for having put cousins ??on the list who would withdraw.
Then the fight broke out between Endri Shabani's Nisma Thurje. It's not like there's a big exception. Edlira Çepani, a lady who could be an added value for the opposition.
The third name is Florian Açka, who is one of the people who headed the diaspora department in the DP, a good name with a certain contribution to the DP.

Further, Adriana Kalaja has chosen to fight the government, an unstoppable activist, she also has her weight. Maybe she is much tougher than the others above. Maybe she is not as academic as the others, but she is energetic and tireless and is there in the battle.

The DP has people, but they have expelled them, they have left them far away. They have left them on the outskirts, you don't see them in the DP because they are being kept further and further away. Not because Berisha is holding them, the circle of those who have mandates is holding them, the circle of those who are on closed lists is holding them, the circle of those who have occupied the secretariats, the branch, is holding them, because they don't understand.
Someone might say that without a genuine opening of the opposition, they cannot come to power, but they understand. They do not want this genuine opening of the opposition and coming to power, but they want to keep their seat and the position they have in the opposition.
Let the DP stay in opposition for 50 years, it is enough for them to stay there, have their seat and do the next shopping, get a mandate. A mandate for an MP is almost 200 thousand euros of income directly from the salary, we are not talking about anything else and the opposition is languishing.
Someone may say that it has been reduced to a mere trifle, but the emergence of the names we mentioned, such as Hasimja, Florian Açka or other boys and girls who are endless in the opposition camp, show that the opposition has hope, has names, has something to present to Albanians, but unfortunately it has pushed them into a corner and does not give them the weight they deserve.
Perhaps intellectuals do not want to be in line like militants and cannot be. They represent another value, they are an added value for the opposition, but they must be part of it, of the opening of the DP, of a real opposition that presents a platform, that has intellectual names, has capacities that create confidence in public opinion that they can govern tomorrow and can bring change to the country.
With closed circles, which are wrapped with chains and locked with keys, the opposition will be worse and worse in its days, while open circles have more hope for the future.
Closed circles may also include names like Jorida Tabaku, Ilir Alimehmeti, etc., who do not leave the seat of deputy to run for Mayor if they do not see the office, that is, the chair of mayor, as secure, while others, although at a distance and although it may not be their competition, go and accept, evaluate their rivals and challenge their opponent in a totally unequal confrontation.
This is to show values ??and something the opposition can do and to have anti-values, such as the case of Jorida or Alimehmet, who view oppositionism from the seat of the deputy or mayor who is entrusted with the task and nothing more than that.
Some have chosen to compete and show their values, some have chosen to hide behind their anti-values./ CNA
