The incinerators who "scream" for Lori Hoxha

The hundreds of millions of euros incinerator affair is one of the largest corruption schemes, which has involved countless officials, from those at low levels to the former Minister of Environment, who has become a scapegoat for a prosecutor who is sleeping like Dritan Prençi.

More than Dritan Prençi who thinks that the case can be closed by dragging it out because one day we will be silent and it will be forgotten, the issue of incinerators is a matter of the identity of Albanian justice. This issue cannot be covered up by prosecutors who have turned into political mercenaries who solve cases by pursuing defendants at large.

The latter are individuals who come around, who spoil the evidence, who from Dritan Prenç's slowness can earn millions and millions of euros more.

Without a doubt, the example of how to profit from a concession turned into an affair by creating a direct scheme with the media are the incinerators, and the strongest connection between Mirel Mërtiri and Klodian Zoto with direct and indirect payments was "Top Channel".

It was "Top Channel" during the time of Vjollca Hoxha or later during the time of Lori. This media could not separate itself from the incinerators, from its partnership with them, from Endrit Habilaj who himself accused it of extortion and then "Top Channel" publicly told it that it was a fine-paying company.

It could never be separated from the partnership of Lori's shares with Klodin and Mirel and the financing from the payments, even though the media, no matter how small, no matter how few, wrote and screamed that it was a theft, which today has reached around 120 million euros.

The Albanian government may claim that it was building a landfill, that incinerators would be built, but we are faced with the fact that in Elbasan the 24 million euro incinerator is not working, in Fier the 35 million euro incinerator has not been completed, and in Tirana, where 120 million euros have been paid from Albanian taxes directly and indirectly, the incinerator does not exist.

We are facing a frightening environmental catastrophe and here "Top Channel" "shines" like a rooster on top of a pile of garbage, and "Top Channel" is the media on top of the mountain of garbage in Sharra, having benefited from millions and millions of euros from the criminal group of incinerators.

And prosecutor Dritan Prençi doesn't see them because he doesn't work like the incinerator in Elbasan, the investigation into the Fier incinerator hasn't been completed, or maybe he will never accuse those media outlets that attacked, accused prosecutors and the entire justice system, to defend the incinerator affair.

There will never be any charges against the beneficiaries of the money in collaboration with the incinerator gang, nor against Dritan Prenç, nor against any other prosecutor, who, like "Top Channel", shine above the mountain of garbage in Sharra.

They simply tarnish the image of an institution by not only lacking the civic courage, but also the slightest institutional ethics, to be at the height of the duty they have.

This happens simply and only because the gang of incinerators does not attack them, simply and only because those who directly and in collaboration stole tens of millions of euros in taxes from Albanian citizens remain silent about the incompetence of this prosecutor. Prençi pretends not to understand, pretends not to hear, pretends not to see in the face of a painful criminal reality and in the face of a group of thieves.

They, with their media collaborators, have chosen to elevate Prosecutor Ditan Prençi to a pedestal, just like the "naked" king, but we will be here to tell him that the cloak he thinks they have put on him cannot cover the deeds of either him, his collaborators, or those he thinks he will save directly or indirectly by remaining silent, by not acting, and by not doing his duty.

He simply and solely by becoming an accomplice of Lori or the structured criminal group of incinerators, unfortunately, can also be the prosecutor of the case./ CNA
