Those other media outlets that Mero will mention, in fact, forget to tell us that he was Sali Berisha's student for 16 years, then his biggest advertiser and media manager.

His newspaper was a vassal of Sali Berisha, not to mention that Sali Berisha founded it with the money of the Democratic Party.

It's the same Mero who told us about the Albanian-American danger in '97 on behalf of Sali Berisha.

But then, for clientelistic and corrupt interests, he sold out and fled, and met with Edi Rama. As well as these others who today run and manage media, which we were told were managed as a strong opposition voice.

If we go by this principle, the most powerful opposition voice in Albania remains Mero Baze, but with Erion Veliaj now in handcuffs, imprisoned in Durrës prison , the only hope lies with Mero to form a party against Rama after the recent clashes with the idea that they can do something and get back into the game with their political bargaining.

And if there is a media shopkeeper who has gone from one side to the other for the most disgusting interests, if there is someone who is a beneficiary of the socialists' power, this is Dr. Zeqo Pilafi of Berisha, i.e. Mero Baze, who from torn socks and sheltered with public money by the National Housing Authority has now become a hotel, land, numerous apartments in the capital and even offices, when before administering them he attacked the businessman who was going to build them.

To moralize Mero Baze for television managers or their leaders in Albania because they have been and worked for the DP or are supporters of the opposition and its elected officials is the same as moralizing a prostitute expelled from a brothel for immorality./ CNA
