CNA has often denounced Ajola Xoxa's unbridled luxury and staggering spending on clothing and accessories.

Some time ago, CNA, through an article, showed how Ajola bought clothes that cost over 5 thousand euros a dress or even Erion Veliaj's own expensive clothes.

But let's move on to the facts of how Ajola Xoxa's expenses have increased over the years with the arrival of Erion Veliaj at the head of the Municipality of Tirana.  

The court's decision reveals how over 860 thousand euros were spent by Ajola Xoxa on clothing, cosmetic products, lipstick, earrings, etc.

The letter sent by the General Directorate of Customs shows that citizen Erald Ismaili has carried out 130 customs procedures for the clearance of personal goods through customs declarations of Import4, of the Rinas Customs branch.

"From the examination of the material made available, it is evident that the goods cleared by citizen Erald Ismaili were previously purchased on the online platform of the 'Net-a-Porter.com' chain of stores, in the United Kingdom, Italy, the United States of America and Hong Kong. Also, the document evidences the fact that purchases were also made by the same citizen at the companies 'Moda Operandi' and 'Mercedes Distribution Moda'. According to the description of the cleared goods, the purchased items turn out to be products used by women/ladies", states the investigative file disclosed by the court.

The total value of products purchased online, which were subsequently cleared in Albanian territory, for the years 2016-2021 is 55,414,409 lekë.

Specifically, in 2016 , a customs clearance results from 14.12.2016, from the exporting company "Net-A-Porter", the exporting country is the United Kingdom, description: 5 pieces of personal clothing, with a product value of 702,174 lekë.

In 2017 , 10 customs clearance practices resulted, from the exporting company "Net-A-Porter", the exporting country was the United Kingdom, description: personal clothing, dresses, t-shirts, glasses, etc., with a total product value of 5,091,333 lek.

In 2018, 90 customs clearance practices resulted, mostly from the exporting company "Net-A-Porter", the exporting country United Kingdom, United States of America, description: personal clothing, dresses, blouses, bags, skirts, coats, cosmetic products, lipstick, earrings, etc., at a total product value of 14,850,236 lek.

In 2019 , 69 customs clearance practices resulted, mostly from the exporting company "Net-A-Porter", the exporting country Great Britain, description: personal clothing, dresses, blouses, bags, skirts, coats, cosmetic products, lipstick, earrings, etc., at a total product value of 13,533,786 lek.

In 2020, 81 customs clearance practices resulted from the exporting company, mostly "Net-A-Porter", exporting country United Kingdom, Hong Kong, description: personal clothing, dresses, blouses, bags, skirts, coats, cosmetic products, lipstick, earrings, etc., at a total product value of 14,453,776 lek.

In 2021 , 46 customs clearance practices resulted, mostly from the exporting company "Net-A-Porter", the exporting country United Kingdom, Italy, description: personal clothing, dresses, blouses, bags, skirts, coats, cosmetic products, lipstick, earrings, etc., at a total product value of 6,783,104 lek.

To the above value, Customs + VAT paid by the buyer for the ordered items must be added.

Out of 130 customs practices , 128 such practices were verified , the value of which is 12,622,302 lek (Customs + VAT). In total, it results that for 128 customs practices (130 such), at least 68,036,711 lek were paid by the buyer.

In order to identify the buyer of the items for which the relevant customs clearances have been carried out, the system (customs system) has been used to print the practices. From the examination of the printed documents, which are attached to the practices, in most cases the citizen Erald Ismaili is identified as the buyer, as well as the address for receiving the goods Sky Tower.

Likewise, in at least one of the customs practices, and more specifically with No. R 30512 dated 04.12.2018, which results in the purchase of 2 dresses worth 3,323.11 US dollars, customs and VAT worth 76,022 lekë, the document with the DHL logo records the recipient's data: "Erald Ismaili, 'Ibrahim Rugova' Street, Sky Tower 12-3, [email protected]" and "contact: 03556720*0124".

Purchases made by Valbona Xoxa 

In relation to the purchases made by citizen Valbona Xoxa, document No. 674 Prot., dated 14.09.2024, forwarded by the General Directorate of Customs, has been administered in the criminal file, from which it results that citizen Valbona Xoxa has carried out 32 customs procedures for the clearance of personal goods through Import customs declarations, of the Rinas Customs branch.

From the examination of the material made available, it is evident that the goods cleared by citizen Valbona Xoxa are goods purchased online, mainly "Net-a-Porter.com", and in some cases "Shopbop", "the Outnet" in the United Kingdom and the United States of America.

According to the description of the cleared goods, it turns out that they are goods/products used for women, such as clothing, earrings, make-up, cosmetic brushes, lipstick, cosmetic products, dresses, etc. Customs practices, in 30 cases are in GBP (pound) currency and in 2 cases are in USD (US dollars).

From the examination of the customs declarations, in the case where there were attached documents, it is evident in all cases that the orders in the online store "Net-a-Porter" were made from the account 133174304, the contact name and address "Valbona Xoxa, Sky Tower 12/3, Rruga "Ibrahim Rugova", the telephone number 003556720*0124 (in use by Ajola Xoxa), as well as the e-mail [email protected].

From the practices made available by the General Directorate of Customs, in some cases there is also correspondence that was used to issue customs declarations.

The total value of products purchased online and subsequently cleared through customs for the years 2015-2021 is 10,769,806.51 lek. Customs duties and VAT paid for the 32 customs clearance practices is 2,494,563.00 lek. In total, the final cost for the purchased goods and customs payments is 13,264,369 lek.

Purchases made by Ajola Xoxa 

In relation to the purchases made by Ajola Xoxa, document No. 11899/1 Prot., dated 21.05.2024, forwarded by the General Directorate of Customs, has been administered in the criminal file, from which it results that citizen Ajola Xoxa has carried out 12 customs practices for the clearance of personal goods through Import4 customs declarations, of the Rinas Customs branch.

From the examination of the material made available, it is evident that the goods cleared by citizen Ajola Xoxa are goods purchased online at "Shopbop", "Frank Smythson", "Net-a-Porter.com", etc. From the practices made available by the General Directorate of Customs, in some cases correspondence is also found, which served to issue customs declarations.

The total value of products purchased online by citizen Ajola Xoxa and subsequently cleared through customs for the year 2014-2021 is 1,916,215 lek. Customs duties and VAT paid for the 12 customs clearance practices is 472,486 lek. In total, the final cost for the purchased goods and customs payments is 2,388,701 lek.

From the review of the system referred to the minutes of 13.01.2025, it is evident that "Ava Studio" sh.pk has carried out 9 customs clearance practices belonging to the period March 2023-March 2024. From the review of these practices, it results that customs clearances have been carried out which belong to purchases made at "Net-A-Porter.com" (8 cases) and "Smythson", for clothing, bikinis, makeup, jewelry, in the amount of 2,466,763 lek plus customs payments in the amount of 564,631 lek. The total purchases result in 3,031,394 lek.

In total, purchases made online by Erald Ismaili (Ajola Xoxa), Valbona Xoxa, Ajola Xoxa and "Ava Studio", legally owned by citizen Valbona Xoxa, but de facto controlled by Ajola Xoxa, amount to 86,721,175 lek.

During the statement in the capacity of a person who has knowledge of the criminal offense of citizen Adela Kondakçiu in relation to citizen Erald Ismaili, the declarant showed how they paid for Eraldi's customs clearances in cash on the order or at the request of Ajola.

So, Ajola always gave him the money for customs payments. From the packaging, he concluded that they were expensive brands of clothes./ CNA
