Since 07:00 this morning, the voting process has started to elect the mayor of Himara. 

Until 08:00, according to CEC data, 2.69% of citizens with the right to vote voted. So 580 people voted in total. 

There were problems in some polling stations. In Himarë-Fshat, 100 voters were not allowed to vote because they had expired cards. Also, in some other voting centers, the process started late. Meanwhile, voting has not yet started in two polling stations in the village of Kuç.

In total, there will be 36 voting centers in Himare, which are opened at 07:00 and will be closed at 19:00 until the last voter leaves.

In the voting centers, the electoral materials arrived 2 days ago, while the CEC distributed them in the early hours of Saturday morning.

In Himara, only electronic identification is applied and the polling stations will be monitored by cameras as in every election./ CNA
