Police balance sheet for July/ 5 criminal groups were hit, over 600 arrested

The State Police has made the work balance during the month of July.

Police Notification:

During the month of July, the structures of the State Police have been maximally engaged, to guarantee public safety, the smooth running of the tourist season, as well as to fight crime in general and organized crime in particular.

As a result of ground and air controls, police intelligence, proactive investigations and cooperation with law enforcement agencies in the country, nationwide operations "Clean Territory", "Rule of Law", "Temple", "Maritime Security" have continued with increased intensity. and "Free Beach".

Within them, during the month of July, throughout the territory of the country:

- 115 police operations have been finalized,

- 13 international police operations have been finalized, in cooperation with Europol, Italian, Spanish, German and Montenegrin partners;

- 607 suspected perpetrators of various criminal offenses were put in handcuffs, of which 81 were wanted;

- 103,284 cannabis sativa seedlings and narcotic plants were destroyed. 13 suspected perpetrators of cultivation have been arrested and 5 citizens have been prosecuted for misuse of duties;

- 2 remote control mines, 38 firearms, about 2 kg of cocaine and dozens of doses of cannabis sativa, cocaine and heroin were seized;

- 5 criminal groups were hit in Tirana, Shkodër, Durrës and Berat, during operations "Summer", "Oblika", "Old plants", "Tempulli 3" and "Lidhjet". 50 members of these groups were handcuffed and their assets were seized;

- 2 police operations have been finalized as a result of cooperation with American partners. One operation exposed a large fraud scheme, targeting the education system throughout the country, while the other hit a criminal group for providing assistance to Albanian citizens, in PKK Hani i Hoti, with the aim of illegally crossing the borders, towards Canada and America;

- as a result of the information provided by the Albanian State Police and exchanged through Europol, with the Montenegrin Police, the international coded operation "Kidnapping" was finalized, during which it was possible to find and release 11 immigrants who had been taken hostage by Afghan immigrants . 3 of the perpetrators were arrested in Montenegro. They held the hostages in a mountainous area in Montenegro, at gunpoint, and demanded 50,000 euros for their release;

- as a result of the cooperation of Interpol Tirana with counterparts, 26 citizens announced as wanted internationally were extradited;

-criminal events that could be committed with the explosion of mines and/or firearms have been prevented, as well as the escalation of 5 family conflicts with firearms or cold weapons has been prevented;

-janë zbardhur 2 tentativa për vrasje, në Korçë dhe në Vaun e Dejës, disa djegie të pronave në Vlorë dhe në Lezhë dhe 3 shpërthime me eksploziv në Sarandë, Shkodër dhe Bulqizë;

-janë zbardhur 98 vjedhje, disa prej tyre: me forcë, të sendeve të turistëve ose të shumave të mëdhaja të eurove;

-janë sekuestruar 831 çadra dhe shezlongë të vëna pa leje dhe në cenim të hapësirës publike në plazhet e qarkut Vlorë;

-është ndërhyrë në 12 lokale që kishin vënë muzikë, në tejkalim të nivelit dhe orarit të përcaktuar me ligj. Administratorët e këtyre subjekteve u proceduan penalisht, si dhe u sekuestruan pajisjet që gjeneronin muzikën;

-është reaguar menjëherë për 40 raste të zjarrvënieve të qëllimshme ose nga pakujdesia. Autorët e tyre janë identifikuar dhe nxjerrë përpara përgjegjësisë penale;

-janë trajtuar ligjërisht 112 raste të dhunës në familje;

-janë goditur 8 raste të organizimit të kundërligjshëm të lojërave të fatit. 3 prej tyre janë goditur në Tiranë dhe në Krujë, gjatë operacioneve “Big match”, “Poker 2” dhe “Ilegal game”. Këto operacione kanë rezultuar me vënien në pranga të 25 shtetasve, si dhe me sekuestrimin e sendeve dhe shumave të parave që i shërbenin kësaj veprimtarie;

-janë goditur 2 raste të transportimit të kundërligjshëm të emigrantëve dhe 4 raste të kontrabandimit të disa tonëve kafe, ilaçeve dhe produkteve të tjera të konsumit.

Policia Rrugore ka intensifikuar kontrollet dhe monitorimet në të gjitha akset e vendit, duke përdorur makinat inteligjente dhe bazën logjistike që ka në dispozicion, me qëllim parandalimin e aksidenteve rrugore dhe lëvizjen e lehtësuar të përdoruesve të rrugës, gjatë sezonit turistik.

Në këtë kuadër:

-janë vënë në pranga 180 drejtues mjetesh, nga të cilët 131 për drejtim të mjetit në gjendje të dehur dhe 49 për drejtim të mjetit pa leje drejtimi;

-janë pezulluar 526 leje drejtimi, nga të cilat 250 për tejkalim të normave të shpejtësisë, 83 për drejtim mjeti nën ndikimin e pijeve alkoolike dhe 193 për shkelje të tjera të Kodit Rrugor, për të cilat parashikohet kjo masë administrative.

Gjithashtu, ka funksionuar 24/7, Trupa e Ndërhyrjes Teknike (TNT), në tunelin e ri të Llogarasë. TNT ka ndërhyrë menjëherë në një rast aksidenti, duke dhënë ndihmën e parë.

Policia Kufitare ka qenë tërësisht e fokusuar për të ofruar shërbim cilësor, të shpejtë dhe me etikë, për qytetarët/vizitorët e shumtë në hyrje/dalje të vendit gjatë pikut të sezonit veror, për të garantuar qarkullimin e lirë dhe të sigurtë të shtetasve, mallrave dhe shërbimeve, si dhe për të parandaluar dhe goditur krimet kufitare.

Si rezultat i punës dhe angazhimit për përmbushjen e këtyre prioriteteve, janë goditur:

55 raste të kalimit të paligjshëm të kufijve, 6 raste të mosdeklarimit të të hollave në pikat e kalimit kufitar, 7 raste të trafikimit të mjeteve motorike dhe 2 raste të përdorimit të dokumenteve false për të kaluar kufijve.

In 22 cases in mountain tourist areas, canyons and marine spaces, assistance was given to 55 tourists, visitors and vacationers who were isolated due to the terrain, defects in the vehicles they were using, had lost their orientation or were in danger of drowning in sea ??due to defects in the vessels and large waves.

The State Police remains maximally engaged to continue police mega-operations, cooperation with law enforcement agencies inside and outside the country, as well as working with humanity to help citizens and tourists who need help.
