The escape has ended for Dorian Petoku, otherwise known as the "king" of narcotics.

It is reported that he has been arrested in Dubai, after a cooperation of the Guardia di Finanza and the police of the United Emirates.

Petoku is one of the famous names of Albanian mafia clans. He became even more famous when in December 2023 he managed to escape from the rehabilitation center in Nola (Naples).

The person extradited from Albania spent about a year in prison in Italy and then ensured the transfer to a rehabilitation center, with an electronic bracelet, as he was also considered a drug user, from which he escaped.

Petoku, in July 2022, was sentenced to 12 years in prison after being found guilty of supplying drugs to the organization previously run by Fabrizio Piscitelli, otherwise known as 'Diabolik'.

The latter was killed on August 7, 2019 with a bullet to the head. The drug trafficking organization was dismantled with the operation carried out in November 2019 by officers of the financial police provincial command of Rome and Gico and coordinated by the magistrate Michele Prestipino.
