EP Vice President in protest: Rama is probably scared, enough with corruption

The Vice-President of the European Parliament and Romanian MEP, Nicolae Stefanuta, joined the 30th protest against the government today.

In his speech, Stefanuta said that Albanians do not have to wait for several decades to demand a change in the governing system.

According to him, Prime Minister Edi Rama probably faces feelings of fear, which makes him avoid citizens.

"I was 9 years old when I saw Ceausescu fall and you waited 30 years until Enver Hoxha fell. But now you don't have to wait that long again. Enough with this corruption, enough with this transition, enough with this dictatorship. Why is Europe here and Edi Rama is not here? Why? Maybe because he is afraid. And if so, you must have the courage to increase his fear", said Stefanuta. /CNA
