The Parliament of Albania has announced that the parliamentary session that was to be held tomorrow will be canceled due to the visit of the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, to Tirana.
"We inform you that the plenary session of the Assembly of Albania, scheduled for Thursday, October 10, has been canceled and will take place on October 17, with a common agenda, according to the Assembly's work calendar," announced the Assembly.
It seems that this is just an excuse as the opposition has warned that it will continue the protests and civil disobedience.
The Speaker of the Assembly Elisa Spiropali has closed the parliament after the action taken by the opposition after warning that there will be no normal parliamentary life, nor will she allow the normal continuation of the committee meeting.
The October 7 protest, which was echoed by prestigious foreign media, was an indication that the opposition is determined to continue protests and civil disobedience without return until the establishment of the technical government./ CNA
