Works continue on the Elbasan-Rrogozhina axis/ Rama: Investment that brings cities closer

Prime Minister Edi Rama has announced that work continues on the Elbasan-Rrogozhina road axis, an important segment of Corridor VIII, which aims to improve road infrastructure and the connection between cities.

In a post on social networks, the head of government described the project as a strategic investment, which will contribute to increasing road safety and strengthening Albania's role as a connecting node in the region.

"Good morning and with the work that continues on the Elbasan-Rrogozhina axis, a strategic part of Corridor VIII, an investment that brings cities closer, increases road safety and strengthens Albania's role as a connecting bridge in the region, I wish you a good day," Rama writes.

The Elbasan-Rrogozhina axis is part of Corridor VIII, a project of strategic importance for Albania and the region, which is expected to facilitate the movement of citizens and the transport of goods, improving connections with neighboring countries./ CNA
