Was raped at a protest/ Journalist: They beat you, then accuse you of beating them

Journalist and activist Aulon Kalaja has spoken about the violence he was subjected to during the recent Democratic Party protest.

In an interview with the media, Kalaja stated that after being raped during the protest, he was accused of beating up police officers.

The journalist emphasized that regarding the violence in the protests, he has also requested a closed-door meeting to decide how to react after the violence in the protests.

"I will take this problem to the end. They will beat you and accuse you of beating up the police."

I have called on the DP to hold a closed-door meeting to discuss how to respond to the violence in the protests.

"The role of the police is misunderstood in Albania, it is for the smooth running of the protest, so that day it works for us. Here the situation is misunderstood and we clash with the police," said Kalaja./ CNA
