Rama's tour in New York/Kalaja: Surprising expenses up to 1.5 million euros, SPAK to investigate

The Chairperson of the Appeals Committee in the Democratic Party, Adriana Kalaja, in a statement to the media before SPAK, has revealed that she requested the Special Prosecutor's Office to investigate the expenses of Prime Minister Edi Rama on his tour in New York.

Kalaja said that the expenses go up to 1.5 million euros, so SPAK should investigate where Prime Minister Edi Rama got this money.

"We have asked SPAK for verifications regarding the expenses that, based on the information and evidence we have, amount to a staggering amount, 1.5 million euros, starting with the payment of the hall where the meeting took place, the advertisements on the billboards in the most constitutional of the area where the ads appeared. We asked to investigate the ways in which the tickets were secured", said Kalaja./ CNA
