Today is the 48th rally against the government/ Here's when the next protest will be held in front of the Parliament

Today marks the 48th consecutive protest against the government. For almost two months, citizens have been demanding the removal of the government and the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

As on other days, citizens first gather at "Skënderbej" Square and then march towards "Dëshmorët e Kombit" Boulevard where they deliver speeches in front of the Prime Minister's Office.

In every protest, there is no shortage of banners and placards with messages against the government and the entire political class in the country.

At the rally held the day before, citizens also announced the next protest in front of Parliament. On July 23, the same day as the plenary session, there will be a protest against the government.

The protests in front of Parliament have been accompanied by tensions and clashes between protesters and police, with some citizens being arrested. /CNA
