Fire situation/ Here are the areas with active fires throughout the country

According to data reported to the National Civil Emergency Operations Center at AKMC, as of 4:00 PM, 18 fires have been reported, of which 10 have been extinguished and 8 are active.

After continuous work by operational forces on the ground, it was possible to completely isolate and extinguish the fires in:

1. In the village of Poshnje, administrative unit of Poshnje, municipality of Dimal, the fire has been completely brought under control in the segment where the houses and the military unit were at risk. Currently, the area is being controlled to avoid reactivation of the flames. The situation is under constant monitoring and interventions will continue as needed.

2. In the village of Kotë, Kotë administrative unit, Selenica municipality

3. In the village of Vrion, Finiq administrative unit, Finiq municipality

4. In the place called "Qafa e Laci", Vau-Dejës municipality

5. In the village of Mengël, Labinot-Fushë administrative unit, Elbasan municipality

6. In the area of Liqeni i Thatë, Farkë administrative unit, Tirana municipality

7. On “Haki Stërmilli” street, administrative unit No. 6, Tirana municipality

8. In neighborhood No. 5, Kavajë administrative unit, Kavajë municipality

9. In the village of Zagorë, Shkrel administrative unit, Shkodër municipality

10. In the village of Radanj, administrative unit of Leskovik Center, Kolonjë municipality

Currently, outbreaks are active in:

Dibër District

1. The place called “Lake of Flowers”, part of the Lura National Park, Lura administrative unit, Dibër municipality, where work continued to extinguish the fire that broke out on 07.07.2025 in a forest area with pine trees and meadows. 30 operational forces and 30 forces from the Armed Forces were engaged in the fire extinguishing operation. As a result, an area of about 200 ha of pine and beech forests has been covered so far.

2. The place called "Mali i Peladhisë", Zerqan administrative unit, Bulqizë municipality, where work has continued to extinguish the fire which was reactivated on 13.07.2025. The fire is active in 2 slow-growing foci, one of which is developing towards the village of Vlashaj and the other towards the village of Krajkë. Around 35 operational forces are participating in the operation today.

Fier District

3. Drenova village, Qendër Dukas administrative unit, Mallakastër municipality, where work continued to extinguish the fire that broke out in an area of bushes and thorns, which was reactivated on 14.07.2025. The local fire service of the Mallakastër municipality, 36 forces, 40 military forces from the FA, 2 helicopters and 4 firefighting vehicles from the FA worked at the scene. The mountainous terrain and strong winds have made the situation difficult. The fire spread to the village of Gorishovë, adm. Cakran, Fier municipality.

Vlora Region

4. In the village of Borsh, Lukovë administrative unit, Himara municipality, a fire has broken out in a forest area. The local Fire Department of Himara municipality went to the scene with 2 fire trucks and 6 firefighters, who are working to extinguish it.

Gjirokaster District

5. In the village of Kosina, administrative unit of Qendër Piskove, municipality of Përmet, a fire broke out in an area of bushes and pine trees. The local service of the MZSH of the municipalities of Përmet went to the scene with 2 fire trucks and 6 employees, who are working to extinguish it.

Elbasan District

6. In the village of Gjevur, administrative unit of Përparim, municipality of Peqin, a fire has broken out in a forest area. The local Fire Department Service of the municipality of Peqin has arrived at the scene with 2 fire trucks and 7 employees, who are working to extinguish it.

7. In the village of Dufshan, Sult administrative unit, Gramsh municipality, a fire has broken out in a forest area. The local MZSH Service of the Gramsh municipality has gone to the scene with 2 firefighting vehicles and 8 employees, who are working to extinguish it.

8. In the Hotolisht administrative unit, Librazhd municipality, a fire has broken out in a forest area. The local Fire Department Service of Librazhd municipality has gone to the scene with 1 fire engine and 4 firefighters, who are working to extinguish it.

29 firefighting vehicles and 291 operational forces were deployed in the firefighting operations. The Armed Forces are also participating in today's operations with 2 helicopters, 120 troops and 4 firefighting vehicles./CNA
