Danger to citizens/ Shkodra Police punishes "rebellious" drivers

Traffic Police Services have intensified controls and monitoring of vehicle movement, with the aim of preventing road accidents and managing traffic.

As a result of continuous monitoring on road axes, also using drones, violations of traffic rules have been identified, which constitute a high source of risk for involvement in road accidents.

During drone monitoring, on the “Shkodër-Hani i Hotit” and “Koman-Shkodër” road axes, 13 drivers were found committing high-risk violations for involvement in road accidents. These drivers were punished with administrative measures ranging from 5,000 to 15,000 lekë.

The Shkodra Traffic Police appeals to all drivers to strictly enforce traffic rules, not to overtake incorrectly, not to use a cell phone while driving, and not to drive under the influence of alcohol or while intoxicated./ CNA
