OSCE/ODIHR/Ljubonja report: Use of administration and collaboration with crime

Analyst Fatos Lubonja commented this evening on the final OSCE/ODIHR report on the parliamentary elections of May 11. Invited to News24, Lubonja stated that this report has identified several key problems, which directly affect the equality of the competition. 

The analyst further said that the main problem does not lie in the Electoral Code but, according to him, in the way in which political power uses the system in its favor.

"The use of the administration, pressure on the administration, the use of government money, the forgiveness of fines and cooperation with organized crime - these change the balance in the elections. The problem today is not the Electoral Code. Rama had an advantage with the electoral code this time, after he abolished coalitions.
