The President of the High Judicial Council, Ilir Rusi, was present today at the swearing-in ceremony of 62 new judges, who have completed the Magistrates' School in the academic year 2022-2025.

In his speech, Rusi shared messages about the journey that awaits these judges, while not hesitating to give messages of his own.

Rusi said that taking office as a judge and magistrate is an important moment, not just a solemn oath, as above all, a balance must be established between justice, law, and divine justice.

 "The House speaks before and after, but this time it spoke to both. Now a different journey begins. Being a magistrate, but especially a judge, means having great responsibility on yourself, but the moment you have a mission. Being fair and giving justice are different things. We must all be people first and foremost. If the moment of your table has come, those who are eagerly waiting for what you will decide are justice. You must have a balance between the justice of the law and the divine justice. The dynamics of all development is the right to speak. You can judge yourself, but you can also judge others. Laws are what they are, opinion and journalism as well. Try to understand that it is not just a solemn oath, but you will be the attention of everyone, not to you personally, but to your profession. The decision is very important. Identity and integrity are the most important thing a person can have. I wish success to those who have believed in this and to the families whose children "They have managed to become magistrates and judges, and don't be proud of yourselves yet, but let the work show this," said Rus./CNA
