Wanted for several years/ Moisi Habilaj arrested

Moisi Habilaj, who had been wanted for several years, has been arrested in Borsh. Habilaj was wanted by Italian authorities after he escaped a prison sentence for international drug trafficking. 

According to reports, he was arrested at a beach bar in Borsh, disguised with a hat. Meanwhile, it is also reported that he was escorted to the Vlora Police under strict security measures.

Habilaj was sentenced by the Criminal Court of Kosovo to 15 years in prison in absentia for drug trafficking, but due to the shortened trial, he will only have to serve 10 years in prison. He pleaded guilty to four episodes of drug trafficking in 2014-2015.

Meanwhile, an official announcement about his arrest is awaited. /CNA
