The next hearing in the criminal trial against the leader of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, who is being investigated for the criminal offenses of corruption, money laundering and concealment of assets, has begun at the Special Court.

Meta is present at the hearing, and has stated that his defense attorney will be Bujar Musta. It is reported that Meta also stated at the hearing that not all the documents have been made available to him.

"Not all the documents have been made available to me in order for the process to take place as quickly as possible," Meta said.

We recall that on June 29, it was announced that lawyer Kujtim Cakrani will no longer be the legal representative of the leader of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta.
