The vote to elect the leader of the Democratic Party of Albania (DP) in Korça has been postponed. According to information, the election process will take place on another day, which has not yet been determined.

Tensions and clashes interrupted voting several times today, until it was officially decided to postpone the process.

A little earlier, it was reported that the voter lists were the people of Fidel Kreka and Ervin Salianji. The latter have a single goal, to take the Democratic Party hostage in Korça.

The people involved are elements of the criminal world used by Kreka in his deals with Niko Pelesh and the socialists. 

These actions aim to divide the DP in Korça and take it hostage, with the aim that in the next elections, Fidel Kreka will re-run for MP and serve the SP and Pelesh in the Assembly just like this mandate. In the race for the leadership of the DP branch are Harito Zoto, who is known as a close associate of Ervin Salianj and Irvin Bode. /CNA
