Draft resolutions for the activities of the ILD and KLGJ in 2024 are approved/

The Committee on Civic Initiatives, Cooperation and Institutional Oversight and the Committee on Legal Affairs and Public Administration held a joint meeting today.

At today's meeting, two draft resolutions on the activities of the ILD and the KLGJ for 2024 were approved by a majority vote. The Head of the Laws Committee, Ulsi Manja, said that both draft resolutions will be discussed in next week's plenary session.

"We have two issues on the agenda, or more precisely both in one because we have approved two draft resolutions. After we held a hearing where the High Inspector of Justice and the High Judicial Council reported on the activity of these two institutions for 2024, the rapporteurs made the two draft resolutions available for approval. 

Voting on the draft resolution of the ILD's activities for 2024: 13 votes in favor, none against, 4 did not participate in the vote.

Voting on the draft resolution on the activities of the Supreme Court of Kosovo for 2024: 13 votes in favor, 4 against, no abstentions.

Both draft resolutions are approved. I invite the rapporteurs to prepare the report, the two attached draft resolutions, next Thursday, not tomorrow, will be discussed in the plenary session. We also agreed in the Conference of Speakers that the discussion will be 2 and a half hours for each report. So 5 hours for both. Here I declare the meeting closed," said Manja. /CNA
