"They used to beat me up"/ Rama tells how he was raped in 1997: They broke my nose into pieces

Prime Minister Edi Rama, in his podcast "Flasim" today, recounted several experiences related to events in 1997, when he suffered physical violence.

Rama revealed that when he was a lecturer at the University of Arts, some "sculptors" damaged his nose.

"I have a problem, but it is from the hand of man, not from nature. Some sculptors from the hur and rope ones took my nose in their hands and they cut it into pieces. There is a deviation in this part. The sculptors took my hand and sculptors with iron levers and pipes and I have it here on the back of my head and lips. These are the patinas of time, they are sculptures, even when a nose or hand is broken by time, it is not good to replace them and pretend they are new. That is what I think", - said Rama. /CNA
