"You have uprooted it from the foundation"/ Traders in Vlora

Today, for the fifth consecutive day, the merchants of the Vlora Grand Market gathered to protest against the relocation of their activity to the Narta Market.

Traders today chose a strategic point to protest right in front of the "P. Marko" Theater in Vlora, where an international event, the "A Few More Steps Towards the EU" Dialogue Forum, was expected to take place.

As they watched Foreign Minister Elisa Spiropali pass by, the merchants decided to raise their voices about their concerns.

Spiropali stopped and listened to their requests and complaints, telling them that he was unaware of this issue and that he would speak to the mayor.

"I will now speak with the mayor and the members of the Municipal Council. The municipality also has its own development plan," Spiropali said, among other things.  

On the other hand, another lady who was protesting addressed Spiropali:

"You know what's going on with him. You should be ashamed of yourself for coming to Vlora because you have uprooted Vlora from its foundations. You have taken everything from Vlora and you should be ashamed of yourself for coming to Vlora," she declared./ CNA
