Former Top Gear presenter reveals he has been diagnosed with cancer

Television presenter Jeremy Clarkson has revealed that he has been diagnosed with cancer.

The news was announced in an episode of his television series, Clarkson's Farm, which aired on Wednesday. It's not clear when the footage was taken, but the series was filmed in 2024 and 2025.

Clarkson, 66, is seen telling series regulars Kaleb Cooper and Charlie Ireland about his diagnosis, both of whom were visibly shaken by the news.

The presenter did not clarify what type of cancer he had been diagnosed with, but described it as "aggressive" and that part of his prostate had been removed as part of his treatment.

"I went in the next week and had a biopsy, and it's cancer, and it's aggressive, but it's very early," he said.

"I promise I'll be fine," he told the two men, adding that he would be out of action "for a little while."

On Tuesday evening, hours before the final two episodes aired, Clarkson shared a video on Instagram warning fans that it would be a "hard one to watch."

The presenter's health has been a topic of the program's fifth series, which opened with Clarkson discussing a heart procedure he underwent in October 2024.

At the time, he wrote in his column for the Sunday Times that "of the arteries that fed my heart with nourishing blood, one was completely blocked and the second of the three was heading in that direction."

He said he had a stent placed, which is a tube that is inserted into a narrowed or blocked artery to open it up and allow blood to flow more freely.
