Defendant Erion Veliaj, the mayor arrested on 13 charges for 5 serious criminal offenses, continues to use low tactics and schemes to postpone court hearings.

The man, who until yesterday claimed that there were no charges against him and no evidence, now that 60,000 pages of facts and evidence have been sent to the court proving corruption and abuse of office, waste, does not have the "pants" to go and face trial.

14 postponed sessions, with excuses and lies that have come to light. The last session was postponed with the excuse from Veliaj that he had not met with the lawyer appointed by the court, Valentina Teodorescu, another that he dismissed the lawyers, another that the van did not arrive in time to pick him up, another the murder of the judge, etc., etc., countless excuses.

Listing all the postponed preliminary hearings and the tactics used, it seems that Erion Veliaj will not be tried. The man who talks about the violation of rights and his rights and threatens Strasbourg is the same man who does not go to court.

While he doesn't go to court, from the dark recesses of Durrës prison he prepares scenarios and attacks against prosecutors and judges.

Just a few days ago, CNA showed with documents how Veliaj and his brother Arbri paid $220,000 for lobbying to attack prosecutor Ols Dado and SPAK.

A report that, in addition to the amount, also showed the frauds, which CNA has broken down one by one.

Part of the report submitted to the Department of Justice stated that prosecutor Ols Dado is an active member of the authoritarian opposition party, a complete fraud.

Another lie fabricated by Veliaj was that prosecutor Ols Dado is a property developer and that he submitted a request to the Mayor of Tirana to modify a building permit on the property he owned, which was denied. This is the fraud, which today marks 166 days.

A fraud in collaboration, as his family's journalist, Mero Baze, also has the same claim, but neither of them have published any facts, any documents showing the request signed by the prosecutor and the refusal at the request of the mayor.

These and many other lies have escaped the arrested mayor, as they have been brought to light and are now known by the entire public opinion.

Veliaj's next step in the prison's backrooms was the lawsuit against prosecutor Ols Dado, which in fact reveals that Veliaj is seeking conflict with the prosecutor, whom he has attacked with slander, and is even lobbying against him and justice.

Veliaj's goal is to incite conflict so that the prosecutor will withdraw. The scenario is clear. All this is for Dado to file criminal charges against Veliaj and then withdraw from the case due to conflict of interest.

Erion Veliaj is seeking conflict with prosecutor Ols Dado, after taking his frauds to American congressmen and senators.

Veliaj's schemes to create conflicts have a purpose. He seeks to avoid facing justice, honest prosecutors, the facts and evidence that prosecutors have presented, but he evades justice through procedures and technicalities.
