The Executive Board meeting of the Interreligious Council of Albania was held today. The meeting, chaired by the Secretary General of the Interreligious Council, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Genti Kruja, was attended by representatives of five religious communities.

The focus of this meeting was the presentation of the activity report for the last 6 months during the period 2024-2025 and the review of the three-year strategic plan for the period 2025-2028.

At the start of the meeting, the Archbishop of the Tirana-Durres Archdiocese, Arjan Dodaj, thanked the Interreligious Council of Albania and the leadership of religious communities for participating in the funeral ceremony of Pope Francis.

The necessity of monitoring textbooks to ensure a fair and comprehensive reflection of religious beliefs was also discussed./ CNA
