Who are the most requested branches in the new academic year?

About 20 thousand students started the new academic year 2024-2025 this Monday.

This year there was a slight increase in the number of students, compared to the previous year where there were 19,700 students. The branches most sought after by young people are those of IT and Medicine, as they offer more employment opportunities both in the domestic and foreign markets.

So far, the foreign language branches have fewer enrollments, as well as the programs of exact subjects as well as those of the teacher.

This year there has also been an increase in interest in the priority study programs offered by the Agricultural University, where an excess of the minimum number of students for a group has been noticed. Only 2 programs in this university, Agrobiology and Agricultural Engineering, result in a limited number of students.
