They were circulating with firearms and narcotics/ Two arrested

They were driving around with a vehicle, with firearms and narcotics, 2 citizens were caught and put in handcuffs.

1 firearm, pistol, a quantity of narcotic cocaine, 2 cutting tools (knives), 3 mobile phones and the vehicle were seized.

The Police Services, following the work to prevent and attack criminal activity in the field of illegal possession of weapons, based on the information provided on the operative route that two citizens were moving armed, have organized the work for their capture.

As part of the "Friends" operation, the services of the "Eagle" Special Force have stopped the suspect vehicle. During the search, 1 firearm, a pistol, a quantity of narcotics and 3 cutting tools (knives) were found in the vehicle, which were seized as material evidence, together with the vehicle.    

At the end of the actions, citizens M. Gj., 34 years old (the driver of the vehicle) and YA, 49 years old, both residents of Durrës, were arrested.   

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Durrës, for further actions./ CNA
