Opposition protest today/ Ilir Proda meeting with the chiefs of Tirana police

The new director of the State Police, Ilir Proda, held a meeting with the director of Tirana, Tonin Vocaj, and with the heads of police stations in the capital.

It should be noted that during the meeting it was discussed about the measures taken for the opposition protest, which will take place this afternoon at 18:00.

The chief police, Ilir Proda, has called for the officers not to be provoked by the protesters and to intervene only in case of need.

Proda stressed that all illegal actions of citizens should be documented and filmed, and people with previous precedents should be kept under surveillance.

Around 1,000 police forces will be on standby this afternoon during the opposition protest, and some roads will be blocked until the end of the rally./ CNA
