The Parliament of Kosovo has today approved a bill for the Durrës-Prishtina railway.
The Minister of Infrastructure in Kosovo, Liburn Aliu, declares that the purpose of this draft law is to determine the procedures and share the costs between the two countries for the financing, the feasibility study and the project for the railway line.
According to him, the total cost for the realization of the Feasibility Study and the drafting of the Project - Idea for the construction of the railway line Albania - Kosovo, is expected to be around 1,980,000.
Albania will share the amount of 1,000,000 (one million) Euros, or about 51% of the total cost, while Kosovo will share the amount of 980,000 (nine hundred and eighty thousand) Euros, or 49% of the total cost./ BA – CNA.al
